20 Years of Teaching...

Twenty years ago this week I first started teaching.

As another academic year gets underway, I’m thinking of mentors and colleagues who nurtured and encouraged my growth in the noble undertakings “on the other side of the desk.” Most importantly, I’m recalling the fun and excitement of working with so many brilliant students over the past two decades, many of whom have carried the torch into teaching and mentorship opportunities of their own.

I doubt I could have predicted the journey of my career back in 2004, but I am grateful for that journey, and for the path ahead.
