As the school cycle kicks off, I'd like to share that I'm taking a leave from American University for the coming academic year.
After 2 years of serving as program director for the Music Program, through the ongoing COVID reality (somewhat pictured above) alongside a full teaching schedule, the time has come to press "pause" for a bit.
I'm looking forward to renewed, focused activity in my composing endeavors, and also having some time to reflect on what I've learned about teaching, education, and the arts in this peculiar time (and in general). I will have more to share on all those things–including news about some truly exciting creative projects–coming soon! I’m looking forward to many exciting collaborations.
